Stop writing the same outreach message with different names.

Paste your job spec once. Then open each candidate and get a fit score plus a first-touch message drafted from what's actually on their résumé — in seconds, right where you're already working.

Written from scratch

Hi there, I came across your profile and think you'd be a great fit for a role we have open. Your background looks impressive and I'd love to connect to tell you more. Let me know if you're interested!

Drafted by Curlew, edited by you

Hi Priya — saw you led the Postgres→Vitess migration at your last role. We've got a Staff Platform Engineer opening where that exact problem is the first 90 days. Job spec's a close match on the infra side — worth a 15-min call?

The screening loop, unchanged in a decade

Nothing about this is hard. That's the problem — it's just the same four steps, over and over, for every candidate on every requisition.

01
Open the profile

Read a résumé you'll forget within the hour.

02
Recall the spec

Cross-check against a job spec you've read forty times.

03
Write the message

Compose something personal enough not to be ignored.

04
Repeat

And again. And again, for the next one.

Curlew doesn't replace your judgement on any of it. It removes the retyping — so the thinking is the only part left.

How it works

Three steps, once per candidate. Nothing to configure per profile.

01

Save your job spec

Paste it once when you open a req. Curlew keeps up to five active specs on hand.

02

Open a candidate

On Greenhouse, Lever, or Workable, Curlew reads the page. Anywhere else — LinkedIn included — paste the profile text in.

03

Score, draft, copy

Get a fit score with real strengths and gaps, plus a drafted message. Copy it, read it, send it yourself.

Why "Curlew"?

The curlew is a wading bird with a long, down-curved bill, which it uses to probe far beneath the surface of the mud for what nothing else can reach. It seemed like the right name for a tool whose whole job is finding what's buried three paragraphs into someone's résumé.

Built for people who handle candidate data every day

You're already accountable for how candidate information is handled. Curlew is built not to become a liability.

  • Résumé text is processed for your request and discarded — never written to a database
  • Curlew scores and drafts; it never accepts, rejects or filters anyone. You decide
  • No automated LinkedIn scraping, connecting or messaging
  • Browser access is scoped to your ATS domains only, not your whole browser
  • Read the full privacy policy — it's short, and written to be understood

One plan. No seats to manage.

Questions

Is Curlew available yet?

Not publicly. It's in private beta with a small group of UK agency recruiters while the rough edges get found. Join the early access list and you'll hear the moment it's on the Chrome Web Store.

Does it work on LinkedIn?

Yes, via paste-in rather than automatic reading. LinkedIn restricts automated data collection from its pages, so Curlew never reads LinkedIn's DOM directly — you paste the profile text in, same as you'd paste into any document.

Which ATS platforms are supported?

Greenhouse, Lever, and Workable read the candidate page automatically. Any other source — including internal tools and PDFs — works via paste-in.

Does Curlew decide who to reject?

No, and deliberately so. It produces a score with reasoning and a suggested message. It never accepts, rejects, ranks or filters anyone — every decision stays with you. That matters legally as well as ethically: automated decisions about people carry obligations that advisory tools don't.

What happens to the résumés I process?

Nothing is stored. The text is sent to generate your score and draft, then discarded. Your saved job specs stay in your browser, not on our servers.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — billing runs through Paddle, cancel from your receipt email at any point, no minimum term.
